Are you a passionate Systems Administrator eager to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment?

If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Lexington.

This is a multiyear contract opportunity to support various challenging and interesting group projects.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities of the Systems Administrator:
  • Design software and hardware requirements that meet program specifications
  • Serve as the alternate ISSO to assist with system compliance and issue detection, report, and response
  • Plan expected computer upgrades and new infrastructure hardware procurement
  • Scope, design, deliver, and maintain systems as required by group
  • Provide technical support to users
Requirements of the Systems Administrator:
  • At least 5 years of broad experience as a Systems Administrator in diverse systems environments
  • Experience designing, building, and supporting virtualized environments, VMware preferred
  • Excellent understanding of networking concepts and protocols 
  • Ability to troubleshoot servers and storage platforms
  • Experience with VMware vSphere 5.x+
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly
  • Attention to detail
