Responsibilities of the Telecommunications Technician:

  • Audit sites to determine potential Verizon services discontinuation
  • Leverage standard telecom equipment to conduct site surveys
  • Coordinate services with Avaya, Verizon, and other vendors
  • Provide and update technical documentation 

Requirements of the Telecommunications Technician:

  • Associate's degree, certificate, or equivalent training in in telecommunications systems installation and maintenance
  • At least 3 years of experience in telecommunications, performing moves, adds, and changes
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving telecommunications network hardware issues
  • Commitment to delivering high quality results
