We're looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to support critical financial messaging systems for our large multinational client.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Test Automation Engineer:
  • Develop testing plan scenarios and drive automation for complex testing
  • Analyze complex systems requirements; help resolve complex problems detected in testing
  • Recommend new testing tools and provide guidance and expertise in use and training
  • Create and maintain reusable test data for automation scripts
  • Organize and manage multiple priorities and projects
Requirements of the Test Automation Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of Agile testing/DevOps integration testing experience
  • Experience with test automation, test script creation and modification
  • Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, hands-on BDD/TDD frameworks: TEST NG, Cucumber
  • Hands-on experience in DevOps integration with GitHub, Git pipelines, and Jenkins
  • Java coding with MQ and DB (Sybase/Oracle)
  • Financial messaging experience (Swift desired)
  • Defect management tools (Jira/Zephyr)
