Job Description

We're looking for a skilled UX Developer to support our client, a large investment company. You will work collaboratively to build a commercial application for regulatory technology.

Responsibilities of the UX Developer:
  • Work closely with team members in a collaborative Agile environment
  • Translate UI/UX design specifications into functional web interactions
  • Design, implement, and own adaptable, scalable, and robust cross-platform web applications
  • Support production software operations, test and debug programs
  • Quality inspect test and development artifacts within the team
  • Track issues and work within the Agile team to identify root causes
  • Report progress and status of work you're leading to project teams and managers
Requirements of the UX Developer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
  • Experience with React
  • Experience with JavaScript and the programming paradigms it supports
  • Experience with TypeScript and associated concepts
  • Understanding of REST APIs, API Use Patterns
  • Experienced/Exposure to Angular or similar
  • Expert/Exposure with React Testing Library and/or Test Driven Development or similar
  • Expert/Exposure to Axios, React, Redux, Reach Hooks, Redux Thunk, Redux-Saga and Material-UI or similar
  • Experience with the animation of React Components and animation in general or similar
  • Understanding of asynchronous control flow
  • Familiarity/education with technologies (or similar): Docker and containers; Amazon AWS; MySQL RDBM; NOSQL DB, RBDMS
  • Familiarity/understanding of Agile development and continuous integration
