Responsibilities of the Agile Coach:

  • Help teams implement or improve Agile development practices
  • Coach team members who are acting as Scrum Masters
  • Facilitate release planning and retrospectives from a program level
  • Identify project risks and resolve or escalate appropriately
  • Removing impediments from both a team and organizational level

Requirements of the Agile Coach:

  • At least 10 years of experience in development or a role that enables a strong understanding of SDLC
  • At least 6 years of experience evangelizing Agile methodologies and tools
  • At least 3 years of experience as a hands-on Scrum Master on at least 5 different teams
  • At least 2 years of Jira experience
  • Experience with Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience with Agile product/portfolio management
