Responsibilities of the API Engineer:
  • Work with global teams to make sure there's no gaps in design, development, and testing 
  • Participate in production support and drive automation of manual tasks to improve efficiency
  • Conduct application code and test code reviews with Scrum team
  • Leverage knowledge to influence and lead team in best practices
Requirements of the API Engineer:
  • At least 8 years of Java experience in a lead role
  • At least 3 years of experience:
    • Designing and building applications
    • Using automation frameworks
    • Building DevOps CI/CD pipelines
    • Developing enterprise cloud-based solutions (AWS)
    • Performing serverless development with AWS Lambda
  • In-depth experience with Oracle PL/SQL and complex query writing
  • Experience with server side Java, J2EE, REST, SQL, JUnit, and Tomcat
  • Experience with front end technologies using Node JS, Angular JS, and Backbone JS
  • Knowledge of full life cycle software development
  • TDD/BDD experience a plus
