Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Application Support Analyst with our industry-leading client in Cambridge.

Responsibilities of the Application Support Analyst:

  • Perform desk-side IT support activities such as:
    • Managing incident and request tickets, assets/mobile devices, inventory, allocation and provisioning
    • Ensuring optimal service delivery for IT and acting as point of contact
  • Support Data Center Operations by installing/maintaining/supporting/documenting VC infrastructure equipment
  • Take part in project deployments and new desk-side intiatives by:
    • Providing training and supporting implementation efforts
    • Working with the Infrastructure and Operations Lead and IT Head (and within global guidelines) to define and deliver appropriate local solutions
  • Continuously work to improve IT service by following ITIL framework, identifying and work towards reducing recurring incidents and problems 

Requirements of the Application Support Analyst:

  • Passion for customer service, good communication skills, empathy and ability to understand customer needs. 
  • Maintains practical, up-to-date, and extensive knowledge of relevant technologies. 
  • Demonstrates systems analysis, troubleshooting, documentation and training skills. 
  • Audit and Inspection support. 
  • Business acumen to facilitate priorities and urgency. 
  • Written and verbal communication skills for instructional communications and to positively influence end user behavior.
  • Flexibility to work outside of hours to meet specific support or project needs, and to collaborate effectively with teams across time zones to drive outcomes (may require some travel)
