Are you a skilled Applications Developer with broad expertise in Python and R and strong experience with RShiny? Are you interested in working for a leading biotechnology innovator? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Cambridge!

Responsibilities of the Applications Developer:

  • Leverage RShiny/RSConnect knowledge to develop applications to enable scientific reporting for stakeholders
  • Coordinate closely with research teams to ensure applications are capable of displaying data analysis results
  • Create bioinformatics workflows based on scientific requirements

Requirements of the Applications Developer:

  • Excellent ability to write clean and modern Python and R 
  • Experience in RShiny application development
  • Ability to work collaboratively to develop and refine software 
  • Ability to work with data science and computational biology tools
  • Familiarity with scientific domain: genomics
  • Excited about creating scientific software
  • Prompt response to user inquiries
