Job Description

Do you have experience in desktop support and IT inventory management?

Are you interested in supporting a key federal program?

If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Herndon.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities of the Asset Manager:

  • Develop and maintain processes for IT asset management and repair
  • Provide desktop support to staff for hardware issue identification and resolution
  • Manage enterprise IT assets from acquisition through final disposition
Requirements of the Asset Manager:
  • Security+ certification 
  • Windows desktop support experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining PCs and peripheral equipment
  • Experience with IT inventory management or configuration management
  • BMC Remedy ITSM incident and work order module use and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Excellent time management skills and strong customer service orientation
  • ITIL or Microsoft desktop management certification are ideal (not required)
