We are seeking an Automation Solutions Engineer to support a high-visibility AI evangelism and experimentation team within a Fortune 150 organization. This role is focused on the front end of AI and technology intake, feasibility studies, and the design and delivery of automation-first solutions. Many business requests do not require full AI implementations; instead, they benefit from well-designed automations, lightweight tools, and data-driven insights.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $55 - $58 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Participate in an ongoing intake process for AI and technology use cases from across the business.
- Support multiple concurrent feasibility studies, helping assess whether requests are best solved through AI, automation, visualization, or process improvement.
- Design and build Python-based automations, ranging from small scripts to larger workflow solutions.
- Independently execute automation builds during 2–3 week delivery cycles following feasibility approval.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners including product, design thinking, analytics, and AI specialists.
Experience Requirements:
• 2–4 years of professional experience in engineering, automation, data, or a related technical role.
• Strong proficiency in Python, particularly for automation, scripting, and workflow development.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while knowing when to seek collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's in Computer Science or Previous experience related required.
