We have an excellent opportunity for an Azure Cloud Engineer to join our industry-leading client in DC.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, this position requires a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities of the Azure Cloud Engineer:

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of core components for a major cloud initiative
  • Deliver Azure cloud service integrating with existing VMware private cloud infrastructure
  • Design, develop, unit test, implement and document solutions, both code and underlying infrastructure
  • Model DevOps best practices to define deployment architecture
  • Identify required security controls and assist with implementation

Requirements of the Azure Cloud Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent implementation experience
  • At least 12 years of overall IT experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in full stack software development and database and infrastructure development
  • At least 5 years of experience with Java, NodeJS, ReactJS, AngularJS, or Python
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement FedRAMP compliant environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
  • Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Cloud Foundry
  • Experience with Docker and containerization of legacy apps
