Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Back-End Engineer with our industry-leading client in Pittsburgh.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Back-End Developer: 

  • Work with Analysts to understand platform requirements
  • Develop software artifacts using Agile methodology
  • Participate in Backlog refinement sessions and clarify domain related questions
  • Work in accordance with the team’s Working Agreement
  • Escalate open issues to management for timely resolution

Requirements of the Back-End Developer:

  • BA in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, with advanced degree
  • Backend experience with JasperSoft, PPM or Clarity
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Jasper Reports
  • Experience with SQL Server SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
  • Understand nuances of architecture and weigh-in on product design
