Responsibilities of the Behavioral Health Business Analyst:

  • Deliver functional specifications, including workflow, business rules, data analysis and mapping 
  • Interact directly with clients to elicit business requirements and use cases and recommend solutions
  • Manage multiple competing priorities through effective organization and communication
  • Gather requirements and help build and document specifications for development
  • Conduct gap analyses between applications and customer requirements

Requirements of the Behavioral Health Business Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with clinical and business processes within behavioral health
  • Understanding of Agile SDLC business processes and practices
  • Ability to develop and prepare functional specifications and technical requirements
  • Ability to understand and represent end user needs in a software development environment
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
