Are you a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer with the desire to design and build innovative BI tools in a collaborative environment? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our media communications client in NYC!

Due to client requirement, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities of the BI Developer:

• Work collaboratively to deliver data and analytics solutions
• Develop a framework for provisioning data for business users
• Manage client expectations and solve technical issues
• Collaborate with IT to support root cause analysis and resolution
• Advocate for and adhere to BI best practices and standards

Requirements of the BI Developer:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• At least 10 years of related IT experience
• At least 7 years of experience developing BI solutions
• Experience with BI tools: Qlik, Tableau, and Cognos
• Strong SQL skills, JavaScript, VB, Teradata, Vertica, AWS
• Advanced experience and proficiency in data storytelling 
• Excellent knowledge of BI tool architecture and data modeling
• Ability to design and build visualizations, dashboards, and reports
• Ability to troubleshoot and performance tune BI environment
• Creative, organized, self-sufficient, and resourceful
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
