They are currently looking for a Big Data Architect to join their incredible team.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicants must possess US Citizenship or Permanent Residency and be able to obtain a clearance.

Responsibilities of the Big Data Architect:

  • Design and implement big data solutions on a Hadoop-based platform
  • Refine a data processing pipeline, focusing on unstructured and semi-structured data
  • Support rapid implementations and large scale analytics capability implementations 

Requirements of the Big Data Architect:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with MapReduce programming with Hortonworks Hadoop and Hadoop Distributed File Systems 
  • Experience processing large data stores
  • Experience with Amazon EMR and S3
  • Experience with Spark and Red Hat IDM
  • Willing to take the initiative, flexible and innovative
  • Experience with R, Python, and Cloud deployments with Ansible preferred
  • Experience with Git and Atlassian tool suite preferred (Confluence, Jira)
