Our client, a leader in their industry, has an amazing opportunity for a Business Analyst / Defect Manager.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $48 - 53 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the defect lifecycle for CPE groups
- Conduct working sessions to align development, test, and stakeholder groups
- Perform backlog refinement specific to defects on projects/platforms
- Collaborate with QA Analysts and Testing teams to ensure quality standards
Experience Requirements:
Key Technical Skills:
- Experience as a Business Analyst in an SDLC environment
- Understanding of defect lifecycle and requirements/ticket hygiene
- Proficiency in working with cross-functional teams, especially in QA/Testing
- Experience with Jira
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt
Preferred Requirements:
- Previous experience as a QA Analyst or in a Testing role
- Triage experience with QA/Testing
- Scrum Master experience is a plus
