Role: Business Intelligence Analyst

Duration: 6 Months Contract to Perm

Rate: $45-50/HR

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

We have an excellent opportunity with one of the largest Health care companies in the world. Our client is looking for a talented Business Intelligence Analyst who will be responsible for collecting, manipulating and analyzing business data and preparing reports, graphs, charts and dashboards.

Responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Analyst:

• Extracts and analyzes data from an array of applications/databases to support data integrity
• Analyzes data used in making recommendations
• Assists analysts with requirement, defect clarification and application questions 
• Evaluates observations and prepares applicable reporting documents 
• Assists with research and studies in the areas of Enterprise Data Management data quality 
• Participates in small to medium department projects 

Skills of the Business Intelligence Analyst:

• Working knowledge of company functions and the effects of data changes on those departments
• Working knowledge of research and communication skills and established skills in analytical tools such as MS Excel and MS Access
• Basic knowledge of business intelligence applications (e.g., Business Objects) and SQL
• Basic understanding of layout and structure of company data stores
