Job Description

Are you a passionate Business Analyst with a desire to join a key government integrator to work on matters of national importance? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our leading client in Bethesda.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities of the Business Process Analyst:

  • Own and maintain product backlog
  • Elicit functional requirements from customer
  • Translate technical stories for non-technical audiences
  • Place requirements into JIRA for estimation and tracking
  • Update requirements with clarifications as needed

Requirements of the Business Process Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in business/requirements analysis
  • Demonstrated experience with BA practices: requirements gathering, facilitation, testing, and workflow analysis
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Visio
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and environments
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp and understand technical concepts
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
