Responsibilities of the Change Management Engineer:
  • Support project cost engineering tasks
  • Review and approval contract award and change orders
  • Facilitate change management project 
  • Review proposed labor, equipment, and materials
  • Ensure rates, staffing, and material costs comply with approved rates
  • Escalate any potential discrepancies to appropriate groups 
Requirements of the Change Management Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Surveying, Business, or equivalent industry experience
  • At least 15 years of overall experience and 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with change management in large scale construction projects (>$100M)
  • Good knowledge of contract law and dispute resolution process
  • Ability to control major equipment and trade contract packages
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work across all levels of the organization
