Job Description

We have a wonderful opportunity for a Clinical Analyst and Content Rules Developer with our industry-leading client in Newton.

Due to client requirement, applicant must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

This role offers excellent flexibility, with the option to work from home one or two days per week.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Analyst and Content Rules Developer:

  • Analyze industry guidelines and clinical literature to develop content recommendations and support
  • Translate regulatory, technical, and clinical program specifications into precise rule requirements
  • Develop and test assigned quality measures and methodologies to ensure quality reporting and analysis
  • Create content and rule logic in Clinical Quality Language, unit tests to ensure integrity of content, troubleshoot and resolve results
  • Collaborate with QA for integration and acceptance testing
  • Collaborate to document efforts

Requirements of the Clinical Analyst and Content Rules Developer:

  • At least 2 years of clinical/healthcare field experience in healthcare informatics, computer applications, or business analysis
  • Experience with a healthcare quality program, such as HEDIS or MIPS and Clinical Quality Language (CQL)
  • Basic knowledge of logical and physical data modeling
  • Experience writing SQL based solutions and queries
  • Strong ability to understand Boolean logic statements
  • Excellent problem solving skills 
  • Strong business/data analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
