Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Cognos Business Intelligence Developer with our large national security client in DC.

This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities of the Cognos Business Intelligence Developer:

  • Design, develop, implement, and support Cognos dashboards, reports, and visualizations
  • Adjust data model and package structure in Cognos Framework Manager as requirements and rules change
  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle SQL, PL/SQL procedures to support BI solutions
  • Participate in requirements gathering and design sessions
  • Write advanced queries using SQL

Requirements of the Cognos Business Intelligence Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience
  • Experience in visualization tools - Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with relational databases - Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • Agile development environment experience
  • Clear and effective communicator
