Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Customer Service Representative with Help Desk experience to join our well established client in Raleigh.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a designated security clearance.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative / Tier 1 Support:

  • Provide basic help desk support in adherence with company policies and procedures
  • Provide live chat and email support for products and services issues of moderate complexity
  • Allocate time efficiently and follow general work instructions

Requirements of the Customer Service Representative / Tier 1 Support:

  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's in a technical field preferred
  • Entry level technical certifications are a plus
  • At least 1 year of experience in a help desk or call center environment
  • Experience supporting customers via live chat preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and troubleshooting, including MS Office 2003-2013 and MS Outlook 2003-2013
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software tools
  • Ability to manage and prioritize concurrent tasks
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal, to work directly with customers
  • Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well independently or in a team setting
