Our industry-leading client is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Incident Response Engineer to support enterprise-wide cyber security.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with fully adjudicated Secret clearance and interim Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities of the Incident Response Engineer:
  • Respond to cyber incidents and prepare situational awareness reports for management
  • Act as main response for incidents detected by SOC analysts
  • Work with users to analyze, contain, and remediate security incidents
  • Thorough track security incidents and prepare reports
  • Follow established procedures with a focus on improving efficiency
Requirements of the Incident Response Engineer:
  • Solid understanding of cyber landscape and typical threat vectors
  • Digital forensics, automation/scripting, SIEM exposure, incident response triage, malware reverse engineering, threat hunting
  • Ability to support 24x7 shifts
  • Strong critical and independent thinking skills
  • Experience with process improvement
