Job Description

Our industry-leading client is seeking a talented Data Center Engineer to work with them in Nashville, TN.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Data Center Engineer:
  • Manage planning, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of server hardware
  • Provide customer service and document progress 
Requirements of the Data Center Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience 
  • Experience working on data center server and networking hardware, with an understanding of the infrastructure
  • Experience working with x86 architecture based systems
  • Knowledge of HP and Cisco standalone servers, enclosures, and blades
  • Experience with data center cabling standards including fiber optics
  • Experience with facilities hands on provisioning such as installing racks, setting up power, installing Ethernet, fiber and console cabling, etc
