We have a tremendous opportunity for a Data Protection Lead with our industry-leading financial services client in NYC.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Data Protection Lead:

  • Determine organizational data protection requirements
  • Drive data security initiatives and refine data governance policy
  • Enable training models and policies surrounding training objectives

Requirements of the Data Protection Lead:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; CISSP or CISM a plus
  • At least 12 years of experience in information security or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in cyber security and data protection
  • Experience in a large, heavily regulated institutional environment required
  • Extensive experience in a financial services setting is a very strong plus
  • Excellent understanding of data privacy regulations
