Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Database Administrator with our industry-leading security client in Orlando.

This is a contract to hire position. All applicants must be willing and able to convert to FTE following contract duration.

Responsibilities of the Database Administrator:

  • Perform database administration activities to support DBMS applications
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned database systems
  • Identify, isolate, and bring issues to resolution with little or no supervision
  • Maintain databases across multiple platforms and environments
  • Ensure adherence to all enterprise security and organizational protocols

Requirements of the Database Administrator:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 9 years of experience
  • At least 5 years of recent experience as an Oracle DBA
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Oracle GoldenGate and DataGuard
    • Oracle 12c, RAC, and ASM
    • Linux and PL/SQL scripting
    • Upgrades, patching, and monitoring
