Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a DataStage Developer with our industry-leading client in Rensselaer.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the DataStage Developer:

  • Develop and test DataStage components to support ongoing system enhancement efforts
  • Create functional DataStage components and related processes both individually and in a team setting
  • Work toward goal of producing fully functional DataStage processes according to requirements and design

Requirements of the DataStage Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 6 years in DataStage
  • Excellent knowledge of DataStage v11.5
  • Strong analytical mindset and keen eye for detail
  • Strong knowledge of XML, SOAP, and RESTful services
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
