Job Description

Our client is an international information technology and solutions consulting company. The company is committed to ensuring the safety and security of the United States through the delivery of innovative, next-generation IT solutions. They are currently seeking a Deskside Engineer to join their dedicated team.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicants must possess US Citizenship and Public Trust clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities of the Deskside Engineer:

  • Provide desk side support to end users for complex hardware and software issues
  • Independently research end user issues and develop remediation plans
  • Authenticate and test software and hardware before delivery to end users
  • Update status of queued service requests in the ticket tracking system
  • Serve as an escalation point for junior desk side engineers

Requirements of the Deskside Engineer:

  • High school diploma and at least 3 years of experience providing desk side support
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Windows OS and MS Office tools
  • Experience troubleshooting complex end user software and hardware issues
