Job Description

We have a wonderful opportunity for a Desktop Support Specialist with our industry-leading, national client in Bloomington!

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of Desktop Support/Build Technician:

  • Provide tier II desktop support for complex issues escalated from tier I - Service Desk
  • Accurately document and track inquiries and actions taken, ensuring a prompt response
  • Perform imaging and migration of user profiles, deploy IT assets to the workforce
  • Provide technical guidance and work with vendors to identify and resolve complex problems
  • Respond to work requests regarding sotware installation, configuration, maintenance, or troubleshooting

Requirements of Desktop Support/Build Technician:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or at least 2 years of desktop support experience
  • Extensive experience with Windows OS, MS Office, and remote VPN configuration and troubleshooting
  • Ability to analyze complex business/technical data and develop innovative solutions
  • Motivated self-starter, with effective communication and organizational skills
  • Strong customer satisfaction and results focus
