Responsibilities of the Desktop Support Engineer:
  • Provide Tier 4 application support for market data systems and analytical tools
  • Ensure availability of production desktop platform/infrastructure
  • Write and maintain support documentation
Requirements of the Desktop Support Engineer:
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows NT platforms
  • Experience with market data systems: Bloomberg, Reuters
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Software development experience
  • Motivated self-starter; effective problem solver
