Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity with one of the nation’s largest healthcare companies. Our client is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Representative who can make a positive contribution to their growing team. They are seeking individuals who have a strong background in customer service, tech support, resolving technical problems, and providing technical solutions.

Duration: 18+ Month Contract

Responsibilities of the Desktop Support Representative:

  • Approve the resolution of customers service or billing complaints by authorizing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills
  • Act as escalation point for clients/customers. Approve the referral of unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
  • Review, monitor and audit records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
  • Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess validity of complaints and to determine possible causes
  • Report on call center activities to executive level management

Required Skills of the Desktop Support Representative:

  • Strong technical support skills, specifically related to COMM
  • Excellent ability to learn and leverage technical and customer support skills
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Solid customer support skills across a range of communication platforms: call, email, in-person
