Desktop Support Technician

Columbus, OH

Our technology focused client is searching for an experienced Desktop Support Technician skilled in monitoring and controlling computing systems and devices, and ensuring continuous and effective operation join their industry leading team in Columbus, OH. To be successful in this role, you will need to have expertise in various operating systems (OS X, Linux, Windows, etc.), application troubleshooting skills, and hardware issue resolution (mobile devices, printers, Cisco IP Networks, wireless, etc.)

As the Desktop Support Technician, you will join an innovative team responsible for hands on technical support to workstations, peripherals, and systems, ensuring continuous operation by implementing creative and standard solutions. The Desktop Support Technician will be leading and leveraging their expertise in implementing best practices and technical solutions to better shape the overall success of the company, while working on complex projects and participating on technical project teams.

Duration: 12+ month contract

Rate:$18.00/hour W2 - $25.00/hour W2 + Health, Dental, Vision, 401k Benefits

The Desktop Support Technician will possess the following skills:

  • 2+ years’ proven success with troubleshooting Operating Systems (OS X, Linux, Microsoft Windows 10, 8, XP, 7, 2000, and NT Operating Systems)
  • 2+ years’ extensive knowledge of hardware troubleshooting (PC, MAC, Symbol Mobile Devices, HP, Dell, Ricoh, Xerox laser printers, Cisco IP Networks, WAN/LAN)
  • Expertise in providing technical support in enterprise environment
  • CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network + strongly preferred
  • Lead, motivate, and engage team members to cultivate a culture of excellence
