Are you a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer? Are you interested in working for a global financial services organization? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Jersey City! In this role, you will develop automated solutions, manage a Jenkins environment, and support Docker-based deployment to the internal cloud.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Requirements of the DevOps Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • Experience supporting highly available 24/7 infrastructure
  • Strong experience with scripting languages: Groovy, Python, Bash, Powershell
  • Experience with Puppet, Ansible, or equivalent orchestration tool
  • Knowledge of CI/CD process with GitLab, Jenkins, or equivalent
  • Understanding of virtual environment and containerization with VMware, Docker
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools: Grafana, AppDynamics, or equivalent
  • Java or JavaScript/TypeScript experience a plus
