Responsibilities of the Release/DevOps Engineer:
  • Coordinate and collaborate across technical teams to ensure responsibilities for release are met
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes; ensure automation is implemented
  • Identify and communicate risks that could affect release scope
  • Leverage Jenkins to implement CI/CD pipelines
  • Strive to continuously improve build and release process
Requirements of the Release/DevOps Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing change in a global environment
  • Experience managing and administering an SCM
  • Knowledge of automation in a CI/CD context
  • Experience automating manual processes
  • Python, Bash, Groovy scripting experience
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with front and backend development
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter, motivated, innovative
