Adobe expert needed! An Eliassen client in Washington, DC has immediate need for a Digital Business Analyst. This individual will play a key role in bridging the gap between Product, Development, and other core teams. He or she will assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports. Enabling the team to meet deadlines efficiently and deliver on established vision, strategic initiatives, and business goals. The ideal candidate is an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) expert and familiar with Agile methodology. Only candidates that are located in the Washington, DC area will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Drives the definition and documentation of the Member Value and Communication (MVC) Business Core Team’s business requirements for product, design, and development initiatives related to work for the Member Value & Communications POD.
  • Collaborates with key MVC business stakeholders and serves as the liaison and translator between the MVC business stakeholders and product and development. Builds effective working relationship with the business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are accurately captured, agreed upon, and accepted.
  • Facilitates requirements meetings, prepares business requirements documents, and/or the development of use cases that reflect those requirements and works with the business to ensure requirements are met through the entire process (design, development, QA, UAT, deployment).
  • Understands and translates business concepts to executable functional designs; ensures functional designs are executed as a viable solution to the business concept; ensuring module solution aligns and is compatible with overall architecture.
  • Serves as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) expert, works with other analysts, developers, and product managers to understand integration points with other systems and to craft new solutions using the Adobe Suite of products (AEM, Adobe Test & Target, Adobe Analytics, etc.) as well as Database Repository (DBR).
  • Coaches other team members on how to use Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Supports Business Core Team & Pod Leader in translating businesses operating in a waterfall environment to digital development in an agile environment.
  • Tracks and communicates risks, issues, and decisions and elevates those that need Business Core Team Lead, Business Unit Lead, and/or VP and SVP approval.
  • May include coordination with testing and data teams in support of core projects as requested.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years business analyst experience and/or scrum master experience within an organization with a major digital presence.
  • Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies. Experience working in an environment that integrates both practices preferred.
  • Strong technical background and knowledge of the software development lifecycle and deliverables such as requirements, user journeys, process diagrams, user stories, wireframes, and visual designs.
  • Visual design acumen and experience creating diagrams, charts, and visual aids using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart or Photoshop.
  • Working knowledge of marketing, UX, and product development.
  • Experience linking user journeys between two different companies in support of business development a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills, superior organizational and communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively across groups.
  • Experience working with multi-stakeholder, diverse teams with multiple business objectives a plus. Adept at coordinating with cross functional teams to get the work done.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced collaborative environment and work independently.
  • Advanced understanding of content management systems (Adobe AEM).
  • Advanced understanding of the Adobe Suite (Adobe Analytics, Adobe AEM, Adobe Test & Target, Adobe Audiences)
  • Previous experience with analytics or business intelligence software and principles.
  • Experience with bug-tracking tools and software such as Jira/Confluence and document storage systems such as Basecamp.
  • Experience with systems analysis experience with Adobe AEM Web Content Management System (WCMS) and Digital Asset Management (DAM)
