Are you a skilled Application Architect with an eCommerce domain background?

If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Chesterbrook.

In this role, you will design, develop, and support enterprise eCommerce B2B applications.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the eCommerce Application Architect:
  • Develop architectural strategy and ensure its alignment with business requirements
  • Help to analyze, design, and develop a roadmap and implementation plan
  • Support the development of policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures
  • Align architectural requirements with IT strategy
Requirements of the eCommerce Application Architect:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • At least 8 years of experience across multiple IT areas
  • At least 2 years of eCommerce or related domain experience
  • Expertise in architecture, application design and development, system engineering and integration
  • Hands-on coding with Java 8+, Spring, Oracle, Hibernate, JPA, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of database modeling
  • Good knowledge of Solr, Elasticsearch, or equivalent
  • Good understanding of CI/CD - Jenkins, release cycles, etc.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
