Job Description

Our client is searching for an ETL/BI QA Analyst with Business Intelligence and data warehouse testing experience. Candidates need to create SQL queries to test data warehouse and familiar with enterprise reporting tool (OBIEE, Cognos, Business Objects).

We will accept c2c or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401K matching.

Responsibilities of the QA Analyst:

  • Analyze business, technical, and functional requirements during the SDLC
  • Translate requirements into test plans or scripts 
  • Execute test plans/scripts according to testing standards and guidelines
  • Act as the QA coordinator during releases

Requirements of the QA Analyst:

  • At least 3 years of Cognos/OBIEE testing experience
  • Strong SQL experience including the ability to write complex queries
  • Strong experience with standard quality assurance tools like ALM
  • Ability to script test plans, test cases, and test execution
  • Ability to work independently
