Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a ETL Tester with our industry-leading client in New York, NY.

Responsibilities of the ETL Tester:

  • Responsibility in the quality assurance of software development and deployment with emphasis on development and implementation of test automation
  • Work closely with developers as they develop code to ensure requirements are being met and to the correct quality, and you will conduct automated (and manual tests where necessary) to ensure the software created is fit for purpose
  • Responsible for executing innovative automated testing strategies and toolsets into our overall development processes that support and enhance the current Quality Assurance processes
  • Engage in a continuous collaboration with developers in shifting quality to the left of the Software Delivery Life Cycle

Requirements of the ETL Tester:

  • 2-4 years of overall testing experience with the last 
  • 1+ year focused on QA automation
  • Experience creating test automation within a sprint for new development of user stories
  • Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites (Selenium WebDriver 3.0, Java and Soap UI Pro, and/or Postman) 
  • Experience testing GUI applications, web services and/or web applications (Backend and frontend)
  • Understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in Agile development environments
  • Knowledge of testing fundamentals and test case design techniques
  • Experience with manual testing (functional, end to end, integration, etc.)
  • Proficient with bug tracking and test management tools to support development processes 
  • Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with a wide range of people 
  • Employs a collaborative and team orientated approach
  • Great attention to detail. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
