We have an exciting opportunity for a Fraud Risk Manager - Navy FIP Program with our industry-leading client in McLean, VA.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a PUBLIC TRUST / SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance.   • Help clients optimize all elements of their finance organization.  
  • Guide clients in effective overall financial management as well as corporate performance management. 
  • Possesses knowledge of core operating environments of finance functions for a wide range of companies - start-ups through large multi-international organizations. 
  • Improving companies' transactional and decision support processes, enhancing underlying technologies, and refining organizational designs required to make each individual process more effective and operate in an efficient matter. 
  • Strong written and presentation skills as well as change management capabilities.


  • Must have 7 years of full-time (excluding internships) experience within the past 10 years of progressive experience in the accounting field of Federal Government agencies or Fortune 500 companies. Experience may include audit readiness, audit remediation, and financial statement audit.
  • Experience in financial statement compilation and reporting process as well as audit response and remediation in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS).
  • Experience leading teams to identify risks related to business transformation and support the development of a strategy to overcome and/or address risks
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand client needs, participate within a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, and proactively communicate
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead and manage teams and workstreams
  • Experience effectively leading client discussions and meetings, and producing high-quality and client-ready deliverables including spreadsheets, presentations, reports, and other documents
  • Experience keeping leadership informed of progress, risks, and issues
  • Experience in financial management and supporting clients within the CFO community
  • Demonstrates ability to leverage software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), SharePoint) to create impactful solutions to organizational challenges
  • Experience with DoD and/or the Department of the Navy.
  • Experience in providing audit readiness or audit remediation support, or performing financial statement audits, within the federal government.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate business, regulatory and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement.
