We have an exciting opportunity for a Greenplum Database Administrator with our industry-leading client in Baltimore.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. We offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Greenplum Database Administrator:

  • Administration of GreenPlum databases throughout the lifecycle
  • Design and develop logical and physical database designs from customer requirements
  • Support  development resources and creation of standards
  • Mentor mid and junior level staff
  • Support after hours on-call on a rotation basis 

Requirements of the Greenplum Database Administrator:

  • Bachelors degree in a related discipline and at least 4 years of hands on relevant experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Expert knowledge of relevant databases and architecture
  • Expert in the source control system with Python Development experience
  • Experience working on Agile teams in the fast paced environment
  • Experience administering cloud solutions
