We have a great opportunity for a Help Desk Support Engineer with our industry-leading financial services client in Pittsburgh.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Help Desk Support Engineer:

  • Provide technical support to end clients via email and telephone
  • Monitor system to ensure optimal functionality 
  • Perform backups and prepare backup tapes for storage
  • Monitor equipment status for IT equipment
  • Perform file transfers and project work when needed
  • Troubleshoot issues through to resolution

Requirements of the Help Desk Support Engineer:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Expertise in MS Windows XP and application installations
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues to resolution
  • Strong organizational and record keeping skills
  • Ability to work with customers
