  • Our Client is providing assistance to the IRS with the deployment of Microsoft Windows 10 and subsequent migration of IRS computers to the Microsoft Windows 10 infrastructure.  They are also providing technical resources that will augment currently existing support at the IRS with work products. In addition, this program is focused on offering technical guidance, expertise, and triage support with the aforementioned solutions and the integration of IRS existing technologies.
  • Our client operates a level-one, consolidated customer help desk to serve as the single point of contact (POC) to answer IT/IM trouble calls for approximately 85,000+ end users. This program is focused on maintaining  a 24x7 call center that conducts preliminary assessment of a call, assistance and direction to resolve real or perceived software problems.   Support will include access to include phone, email, and chat capabilities at the appropriate security levels.  The objective of this project is to support the continued maintenance of this Windows 10 Deployment, migration and provide help desk support.  
  • The Help Desk Analyst Job will support our client’s technology group.  The technology team provides creative, reliable solutions for our client’s internal and external customers. This client provides global services including design, engineering, installation, dispatching, repair, outsourcing and consulting, and project management for a diverse base of network, radio, and applications services supporting information technology systems and networks in industries including finance and retail. This program as stated above is directly supporting the IRS. 

The Help Desk Analyst will: 

  • Initiate and resolve service requests
  • Resolve technical problems and answer queries for hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems
  • Diagnose, identify, isolate, and analyze problems 
  • Work with system administrators and developers to ensure services/incidents are completed
  • Provide outstanding customer service experience

Requirements of the Help Desk Analyst:

  • Active IRS Public Trust with MBI is required for this position and must be had prior to interview per client request
  • 3+ years of technical experience with Help Desk Support and experience working directly with customers via phone and remotely to resolve technical software and hardware issues
  • Technical, hands on experience with Windows 7, 8.1 and Windows 10 migration, Office Pro Plus (Office 2016), Outlook are a must 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to learn new technologies
