Job Description

Are you a Help Desk Technician, well-versed in financial application support? Are you interested in working for a world leading organization? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in NYC!

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Help Desk Technician:

  • Provide support to client via email, phone call, and reporting
  • Troubleshoot issues to resolution
  • Support backups and backup tape storage
  • Monitor technical equipment status
  • Perform file transfers

Requirements of the Help Desk Technician:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent customer service and support skills
  • Expertise in MS Windows XP and application installations
  • Ability to effectively work with customers to resolve issues
  • Strong organizational and record keeping skills
  • Familiarity with financial applications required
