Job Description

Eliassen Group is seeking an HR Administrative Assistant for a globally recognized investment and asset management firm in Baltimore. Work will be 100% remote and interviews will take place virtually. Scope of work, responsibilities, and skills being sought are as follows:   

Calendar management

  • Manage the calendars and schedules
  • Schedule meetings upon request
  • Build in travel time between appointments based on location
  • Review meeting topics to anticipate if support is needed – e.g. printing resume and itinerary for interview meetings

    Project support

  • Assist with admin support to include editing and consolidating documents in Powerpoint, working with HR Shared Services on reports, scheduling key milestone meetings
  • Organizing meetings to include creating agenda, preparing materials, gathering supplies, note taking and follow ups.

    Develop successful relationships

  • Ensure you have strong and collaborative partnerships with the HRBP/Sr. HRC’s you support
  • Ensure you have strong and collaborative partnerships with the HR administrative team.
  • Participate in the team meetings and volunteer as appropriate to share the broader workload across HR, including phone coverage, lunch orders for meetings.

    Identify and implement opportunities to streamline the quality and efficiency of our work and processes

  • Offer suggestions to improve the processes and outputs of our team
  • Offer suggestions to clean up our shared folders


  • Critical thinking & problem solving – being able to think “up and down stream” for impacts, anticipating problems and proactively putting solutions in place before being asked
  • Detail oriented
  • Microsoft Office skills – create, edit, format PowerPoint slides
  • Communication skills – interact in writing and in person with various levels and roles; understand what, how and when information needs to be shared
