Job Description

Do you have a strong background utilizing IBM ICMs (Incentive Compensation Management) tools with hands on experience designing and building reports, analysis and dashboards? Then this position might just be for you! This position is situated in McLean, VA and supporting our major FinTech client, working in a mature Agile environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, implement and document compensation plans from business rule
  • Design, build, develop and document dashboards, reports and webforms in ICM
  • Configuration, customization and integration of application
  • Lead the analysis of requirements, high level and detailed design, integration, and implementation activities to support Line of Business Incentives
  • Own solution delivery while also adhering to the defined development life cycle, software design, and architecture best practices/guidelines
  • Implement software engineering best practices to ensure high quality, efficient development processes
  • Document design decisions as well as enforce design standards, and guidelines
  • Lead team of developers and connect regularly with the principal manager, stakeholders and key clients 


  • Must be eligible to work on a w2 basis and convert to full-time employment
  • 3+ years of experience as a Cognos Developer, certifications a plus
  • 3+ years’ experience designing and develop reports and dashboards for Human Resources, Finance, Procurement, or related lines of business
  • Experience with IBM Cognos Suite tools, specifically IBM ICMs
  • Demonstrated hands on experience leading teams, reporting to executives and stakeholders
