Are you a passionate and well versed Information Assurance Analyst? Would you like to apply your cyber security expertise to support federal security standards? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our key government integrator client in Suitland!

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen with clearance eligibility for high risk positions of trust.

Responsibilities of the Information Assurance Analyst:

  • Evaluate proposed systems, networks, and software for security risks
  • Provide subject matter expertise to inform vendor source selection
  • Establish scope and detail level of system security plans
  • Identify areas that require improvement to maintain security posture
  • Analyze system change requests and make recommendations

Requirements of the Information Assurance Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience
  • Active CISSP certification required
  • Solid understanding of systems engineering requirements
  • Demonstrated experience implementing federal A&A processes
  • Experience assessing and validating security control compliance
  • Detailed knowledge of latest NIST special publications
  • Experience in all facets of the systems development life cycle
  • Working knowledge of cyber security tool sets
  • Ability to work with customers at various levels
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
