Are you an experienced Information Assurance Engineer with the desire to join a high profile government integrator? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Suitland!

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities of the Information Assurance Engineer:

  • Oversee and ensure information storage and system security
  • Identify, assess, and remediate potential risks to minimize incidents
  • Perform periodic risk assessments; develop and implement scanning plans
  • Implement or support security systems and solutions
  • Monitor and assess new technology for enterprise use suitability 

Requirements of the Information Assurance Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technical equivalent and Security+ or CISSP certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in Information Assurance
  • Knowledge of systems engineering life cycle
  • Knowledge of federal, commerce, and NOAA IA guidelines
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills
