Job Description

Eliassen Group is currently assisting a large government integrator find Instructional Developers to add to its team. You will be a member of a team who is responsible for the 2025 Navy training and curriculum development.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Secret clearance and a qualifying background investigation within the last 10 years to meet eligibility requirements for an IT Level II Common Access Card.

Responsibilities of the Instructional Developer:

  • Design and develop instructional strategy aligned with training requirements
  • Analyze training and media requirements; develop learning objectives and methods
  • Design and develop computer and web-based training and other technology-driven learning solutions
  • Design instructionally sound lessons through a variety of delivery media
  • Work closely with project lead, multimedia specialists, and programmers
Requirements of the Instructional Developer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design field; Master's preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in instructional design and curriculum support using PADDIE+M process
  • Familiarity with Navy curriculum design and development
  • Excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to align tasks and skills with learning objectives
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Some travel may be required
