Our client seeks a mid-level Integrated Master Scheduler and Risk Manager to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules across multiple DoD acquisition programs. The role consolidates critical paths, supports forecasting for cost, funding, staffing, and logistics, and aligns schedules to acquisition milestones. The position leads risk management by maintaining a comprehensive risk register and metrics to enable early risk recognition and mitigation. The role prepares clear analyses, documentation, and briefings to communicate schedule status and risk posture to leadership and stakeholders.

 

Due to federal security clearance requirements, the applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Secret clearance. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2



Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and update Integrated Master Schedules for multiple programs within Product Manager M2T2.
  • Identify and track key milestones, CDRL deliveries, program reviews, integration activities, contract changes, and training requirements.
  • Consolidate critical paths across projects into a cohesive IMS to support performance tracking and forecasting.
  • Serve as primary risk manager and maintain a comprehensive risk register for all programs.
  • Provide probability of program success factors and risk metrics to enable early risk recognition, mitigation, and resolution.
  • Support development and execution of risk mitigation plans and present risk status to leadership.
  • Deliver schedule and risk analyses to support organizational, administrative, and product management efforts.
  • Support development and sustainment of program plans, policies, and acquisition documentation aligned to DoD milestones and decision points.
  • Prepare, staff, and present briefings, presentations, and reports on schedule status, risk posture, and milestone progress.
  • Provide administrative and management support including staff action tracking, research, file organization, memoranda, documentation, and deliverable processing.

Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of program management support experience, including at least 5 years in a DoD acquisition environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing an IMS using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
  • Experience with DoD risk management processes including identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition milestones, decision points, and staffing processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Detail orientation with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Knowledge of the DoD Risk, Issue, and Opportunity Management Guide.
  • Ability to consolidate critical paths from numerous projects into a single IMS.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel less than 10 percent.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
