Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a skilled IS Support Analyst with our leading client in Watertown.

All applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE.

Responsibilities of the IS Support Analyst:

  • Lead small scope projects or initiatives with impact to one or more platforms
  • Collaborate with team members to document current state processes as well as new business requirements and specifications
  • Create basic reports with direction for problem resolution
  • Participate in business/systems support planning and documentation related to production support issues
  • Perform in incident triaging and problem resolution as appropriate
  • Process incidents in a productive manner according to SLAs
  • Document all actions and customer encounters in ServiceNow platform

Requirements of the IS Support Analyst:&

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in a functional business area
  • Basic understanding of health insurance and related technology products
  • Basic understanding of managed care insurance applications and user requirements
  • Basic knowledge of simple reporting tools, brainstorming tools, and business models
  • Working proficiency of MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Project, and Access
  • Understanding of process improvement and business process re-engineering preferred
